Ivo Kuzmanić started making documentary films in 1992. He is the author of many award-winning documentaries. In addition to being actively involved in all aspects of documentaries, Kuzmanić also directs television series and music videos.
Families used to be very large and living conditions extremely harsh. In the area around Ogulin and the Kordun region, this gave rise to the tradition of “selling” children to become servants on St George’s Day. This tradition lasted until the 1960s. The agreement between the parents and the master was verbal and it was concluded for a period of one year. Do persons who experienced such a childhood see this “sale” as positive or was this experience traumatic for them?
