Léa Klaue was born in 1989 in Switzerland. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Social Anthropology in Basel, Klaue went on to receive a master’s degree in Visual Cultural Studies in Troms, Norway. This is her first film and it was created as a part of her master’s thesis.
Gerard, Ruben, Neysa and their friends – children and adolescents who are already working as assistants in a convenience store and at the local cemetery – founded a workers’ union called UNATsBO to propagate their ideas and fight for workers’ rights of children. Unlike many others, they believe that working is good and that work is a tool for growth and gaining power.
