Sarah Grohnert is a director and editor whose field of interest includes the portrayal of everyday life and the relationships that develop within it. Although she is originally from Germany, she graduated in Directing in Great Britain and she has been living and working in New Zealand since 2011. She is the author of several award-winning films.
Ever the Land explores the subliminal connection between people and their land through the portrayal of an architectural intervention of one of the most passionate independent Maori tribes – the Ngāi Tūhoe.
